Informal discussions over coffee and face to face which helps when you are older as people tend to judge. My boss didnt do that. he was honest and friendly- something else that diesn't happen

I had a phone screening interview where they gave two coding problems. I solved one completely and the other one partially. Later they did not give any response for a week and when I sent mail to them, they replied back saying that I did well in the interview, but they are keeping the position on hold due to internal reasons, and will let me know when it opens again. I did not like the fact that, they did not provide any communication until I asked and wasted our time when they don't have clarity on the position.
