EPAM Systems Software Engineer interview questions

1) HR (general discussion, english check, salary expectation) 2) Technical round with two software engineers (live coding and lots of questions about most of the things you should know) 3) Manager round (general discussion + salary negotiation) The technical interview is highly question driven, so that the applicant does not have a chance to talk about his experience. The last year of my carreer was basically covered with a question or two.. Furthermore, it took them 3 rounds to say that the salary expectation is over their budget for the position (while the outcome of the techical interview was positive and I matched the level that I applied for). I believe they always proceed with the interviews whatever salary expectation you have for the role (so they have the chance to get someone hired for a more senior position in case the applicant is betten than what he thought he was)

I had 1 call with HR and 1 technical interview that lasted for 2 hours. On the technical interview they asked me to write pseudocode of an algorithm, we discussed different Linux-specific technologies and so on.
