Application - The application asks for all the usual details, education, work experience etc. It also asks how many hours you would prefer to work, I ticked the box 16-40, turns out this box is irrelevant as they scheme involves a 50 hour contract, A few odd questions including can you show up to work on a regular basis (would have thought that showing up regularly for work was essential).
Informed of telephone interview via email (date and 5-hour time scale)

An email through from the talent requisition manager saying he would be asking competency-based behavioural questions.
Telephone Interview: The talent requisition manager was friendly, he asked lots of competency based questions and took notes. Don't be put off by the silence and feel you need to carry on talking, he is actually taking notes (if you listen you can hear him typing)
There are further stages to the interview process but I discontinued my interest at the telephone interview.

Applied online and was then emailed with an interview slot with a member of the talent acquistion team. I didn't have an initial telephone interview, I was just offered the the first face to face interview. The interview was mainly competency based questions focusing on sales and customer service.

Interview
I applied online and in a couple of days i have been called to arrange the telephone interview.
You will be tested in customer service, sales and leadership. The questions i have been asked were:
tell me a time you showed you sold something successfully (all STAR examples)
tell me a time you delivered extraordinary customer service
tell me a time you showed leadership
Where do i want to be in 5 years?
why do you want to work for us?
Then i went to a face to face interview: she asked me what i do in my spare time, an example of sales, how i improved and increased sales at my previous job, how did i handle my team and motivated them.
then i went to the office day, i spent 30 min with a employee going through some staff then i had an interview with the manager. It was a bit longer the interview, asked: what makes extraordinary customer service? what makes sales successful? what is a good leader? again about motivating the staff. why me over other candidates?
then i went to the assessment centre, which was really nice. you will have a case study to analyse with the group and you have to sell your idea. however, they are not looking for who sells their idea but how you can listen to others and take their ideas into consideration. then you have two role plays, one in customer service where you have to handle a complaint and another in sales on how you can upsell. then you have another interview that is basically the same as the other ones you had before.
i got the job offer. the salary increase to £21.500 from £20.000 they kind of expect you to work 55 hr a week.
