I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility (Glasgow, Schotland) in Apr 2017
Interview
The overall process was pretty simple. I applied online and then organised a telephone interview with them. The questions for the interview were all on glass door so I was prepared well for it. Following this I was successful and attended a branch visit in the area I wanted to work. The branch visit was very hectic, high pressure and I was left alone on a number of occasions with no-one to interact to or customers to speak to while staff went and cleaned cars in their suits. By the looks of it they were pretty understaffed. The staff were all very friendly though and didn't make me feel out of place. Before I had even got to the interview with the manager I knew that this wasn't the job for me. I had not spent 4 years at university preparing myself for the world of work for a job like this.
I would beg every graduate not to apply to this "programme"! Advertising for "management trainees" is false advertisement. Every staff member that joins, joins as a management trainee and then after training you are known as a management assistant. Basically it is just a fancy term for a standard employee and it makes graduates believe they are applying for a specific management programme which it most definitely is not. You are expected to work minimum 50 hours a week washing cars and doing a job anyone can do, especially without a degree. The pay doesn't even reflect the amount of hours they want you to work.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility (Cardiff, Wales) in May 2026
