I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Environmental Protection Agency in Mar 2015
Interview
Hiring process is good but the interview process is sub-poor. They need more science based interviewers for the interview process. My interview was with a series of non-scientists who could not tell a NOAEC from a NOAEL nor could they explain the work process to me in a few words or less than 1 hr and 20 minutes

Question 1
Do I like to play cards at work? I could not believe I was asked such a stupid and asinine question from such an agency.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Environmental Protection Agency (Washington, DC) in Mar 2019
Interview
One time phone interview and I was offered the job a month later. Beware of the Office of the Administrator and other offices that have a heavy political climate. Might consider this agency after several years.

Question 1
Why did you list your experience with statistical packages on your resume?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Environmental Protection Agency
Interview
Very simple. I had common interview processes found in environmental firms or governments. The questions were just about behavioral questions and experience in the field of department you applied. Two interviews were conducted in the same day. The interviewers (two) were very friendly and I was able to take them relax.
