I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Environmental Protection Agency
Interview
Two rounds. Low key first round with potential team, Second round with Associate General Counsel. Questions were fine, nothing life changing. Personalities were a bit arrogant but tolerable. Found out later that questions emphasizing certain skills weren't even skills that the current team had.

Question 1
Questions about the practice area, past experience, handling a difficult situation
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Environmental Protection Agency in Feb 2015
Interview
Two Interviews; one was a panel interview, the other was with a higher level employee. The panel interview was structured, but the interviewers were professional and friendly. Questions during this interview were mostly about my professional background and education. The second interview was a one on one session with questions geared more towards how I would fit in with the group. Both interviews were pleasant.
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Environmental Protection Agency (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2015
Interview
Two separate panel interviews. Both panels were conducted in a professional manner. The initial panel interview consisted of four panel members and the second consisted of two panel members. The interview process was extremely long. I initially applied in September, the first interviews were conducted in January with follow-up interview in early March. I was finally asked for references in March and only one reference was called. It seemed that I would get selected for the position by all accounts (including the reference that was called), but for some reason I was not selected. This seemed like a great opportunity.
