      Project Manager Interview

      Oct 14, 2025

      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Oct 2025

      Interview

      1) 30 minute recruiter phone call, they go over your resume and make sure you are okay with the job requirements, i.e., moving to Wisconsin, traveling, etc. 2) Math Assessment: takes 40-90 minutes. Tests arithmetic, riddles, etc. 3) Separate recruiter call for 15-20 minutes. This won't happen to everyone; they reached out again because I had an engineering background and were surprised that I didn't want to work as a software engineer. 4) Technical Assessment: Only given if you want to work with code, 4 questions in 2 hours, requires some LeetCode practice. Questions had to do with substringing, graph searching, etc. 5) 4 Hour Superday. First, they start with a 1-hour overview of the company. Then you have a 30 minute role overview with a current PM. 30-minute case study. Another 30-minute overview with a different employee for a separate role. 15 minute case presentation, where you talk about anything you want (catch is no PowerPoint slides). Finally, a 30-45 minute behavioral interview with the lead recruiter. Good process overall, I think they could look into breaking up the superday into smaller parts, I had to skip classes for my interview day because it's so hard to squeeze in 4 hours in one sitting. They could have easily done the company overview as an intermediary virtual meet-n-greet event, and then do the rest of the interview another day. If you get an offer, they will fly you out to Wisconsin for a day or two to tour the facility.

      Interview

Apply online. Sign up via emailed link for a 15m phone intro, and sign up for a round of 5 assessments that you have to take in one sitting (budget 2-3hrs). Then do the Rembrandt Profile Assessment (you don't get your results as they're PI) and that's about 40min. On the call you learn about Epic and the role, they make sure you're still interested, get your questions answered by a current PM on the team who's interviewing you, then get told your recruiter will reach out and you'll either move on, or move "on" kind of vibe.
