I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in Feb 2018
Interview
Very easy and quick response. Filled out the application online received an email 2 hours letter asking for a phone interview and scheduled an assessment. The interview is very informal, a general conversation informing you of the position and answering any questions you may have. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE PROCESS IS THE SKILLS ASSESSMENT! The assessment is about 2 hours long and determines whether or not you move forward. Consisted of a lot of technical questions, coding, and general math and problem-solving questions.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Oct 2016
Interview
Phone interview, in-person interview, and programming/math analysis timed test. Overall not easy but not difficult - make sure you take the analytical test a bit slower than you’d think... as long as you don’t fail the test you will get to the next stage. This stage, second interviews, is to determine your fit (personality-wise), where if you don’t fit into their culture, you may not like the position.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Jan 2018
Interview
I was contacted through LinkedIn and submitted an online application, immediately was given an offer to interview via phone and an online skills assessment. The skills assessment is mainly math and logic, along with a short coding assessment that is doable without any coding background (I had none). After a week, I was invited on-site for the in-person interview. The in-person interview is both fun and exhausting; I had multiple interview sessions, two case studies and a presentation to give. However they really try to make the process fun and enjoyable and their campus is amazing. Most interview questions are posted here already so do your homework.
