I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Jan 2016
Interview
The interview process was very lengthy. It started with a brief phone interview, where do you see yourself in 5 years, how did you hear about us, etc? Nothing too challenging here. Then you are instructed to take a proctored test online, it's not easy. I suggest brushing up on your long hand multiplication/division because you aren't allowed a calculator.
If you do decently on this test, you will be contacted for an onsite interview.
The onsite interview plus lunch took about five and a half hours. It started with meeting a person who is in the Project Management role to give a brief overview and provide an opportunity for questions. Then you have a formal interview with a project manager. From there, there was also a case study that was somewhat challenging. Asks you to pin point the two main issues in a scenario and formulate a plan for them. Then there's a tour, a lunch, a 10 minute presentation on literally any topic you would like (about 3 people will be the audience), and then you head straight to the hardest interview in my experience with a member of the audience (HR recruiter).

Interview
1) Application
2) Phone interview
3) Assessment
4) On site interview
5) Offer
I was contacted by someone who said they had seen my resume on Indeed. They emailed me and asked for my availability and my phone number. The next day I received a phone call from someone named Missy she told me about the position and urged me to apply via Epic's website. I applied and within a couple of days I was ask to set up a time and date for a phone interview. The interview was very easy just a bunch of basic questions. Shortly after the interview I received an email to do a profile and schedule my assessment. I took the assessment last Wednesday and I found it to be rather difficult. With that being said I don't think I did well on it. I was told that I would hear back from them in a few days. That's how far I've gotten in the whole process.

Interview
The interview process was very lengthy. First, I applied online because it was a very easy application. I heard back very quickly and was asked to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was very brief (around 20 minutes) and consisted of basic resume questions and an overview of the company and more specifically, the position I was applying for. A couple of days after the phone interview, I received an email telling me that I was moving forward and that I would need to take a few online tests. This was definitely the worst part of the entire interview process. You had to take a bunch of different online tests, none of which were super difficult, but they make you take it through a third-party proctoring company called ProctorU. ProctorU was very slow and lost connection many times causing me to have to start the online tests over. All together, I probably spent about five hours on two separate occasions trying to get this step completed. A few days after completing the online tests, I received an email inviting me to fly out to the headquarters for a final interview. This was very easy to set up which was nice and everything during this trip was paid for by the company. I flew out on a Thursday night and stayed in a hotel in Madison. Friday morning, all of the recruits got in cabs to head over to Epic. My day started at 9am and lasted until around 3pm. The whole day consisted of two interviews, a group case study, a brief presentation of the company and software, a tour, lunch, and a 10-minute presentation. Nothing seemed to be too difficult although the presentation was a bit stressful for me just because they let you pick your own topic and don't really give you any guidance on what you should or shouldn't do. It was a very long day but it flew by and they really do a good job at making it as fun as possible. There were around 35 recruits there the day that I interviewed and a woman that works there said that it was a slow day compared to what they're used to. This surprised me but I was told we weren't all competing for one open position so that's important to keep in mind. I had my interview almost a week ago and I still haven't heard back but they told me it could take a week or two.
