Multiple rounds of phone interviews, formal proctored exam, and creative presentation required during the interview. Speak to people in your future role and HR folks. Some group interview questions included as well.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Epic in Mar 2021
Interview
The first round was a phone call lasting around 30 minutes, pretty standard interview questions like why are you interested in the position, etc. Then they sent me a "non-technical" assessment which was a proctored test lasting a long time, I can't remember exactly how long but it was at least a couple hours long. It was comprised of a lot of logic and pattern recognition with some coding and math involved. For a non-technical assessment it seemed rather technical in my opinion. I did not make it any further in the interviewing process after that.

Question 1
Q: Why do you think you would be a good fit for this position?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Philadelphia, PA) in Dec 2022
Interview
After the resume drop I had to complete a 4 hr assessment with questions that test math, literacy, and ability to pick up basic tech skills (don't need to know how to code or do spectacularly well to move on to the next point). There's a full-day interview session with group overviews, a case study, and a 1 on 1 with a recruiter. You will have to prepare a 10 min presentation on whatever you want, so long as you demonstrate the ability to communicate knowledge decently well. The whole process took about 3-4 weeks.
