I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Epic
Interview
An extremely long process with little to no communication.
There are a lot of RED FLAGS that I came across while researching and going through the application process for them. Some include: emphasizing salary to overcompensate for work life, lack of communication, rude culture, training classes/programs that teach new hires how to demand results from other colleagues, etc.
Also, the interview process seemed so unnecessary. why is it so long and why are there so many tests??
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in Aug 2022
Interview
Very quick, reached out to do an assessment that was proctored and took about 2-3 hours. Passed that then i went straight into the final which was a half day where I talked to a bunch of people, had to give a 10 minute presentation on any topic, and a case study that was ridiculously easy.

Question 1
What are your biggest strengths/weaknesses
Rate on a scale from 1-10 how comfortable you are with conflict and why
Epic 5 hour test; no call; video conference intro about the company; impersonal. Wish I could say it was better but everyone has a different experience. There’s no way to prep for the exam
