I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Jan 2013
Interview
Contacted by a recruiter, then had a phone interview with basic HR questions, along with a Q&A session about Epic. About a week later, heard back from the recruiter with an invitation to attend an on-site interview. The on-site interview was all-day, with demonstrations, talks with a software developer, tours of the campus, as well as an HR interview, a tech interview, a general test (similar to the SAT), and a programming test. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Heard back after about a week again.

Question 1
Tech questions weren't very hard, no questions that you wouldn't see in a general basic skills test. Some dynamic programming knowledge might come in handy.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic
Interview
phone hr interview. no programming test based on experience. They did call and talk to my references. Called onsite. It is a weird experience since so little of it focuses on the interview. There's a tour of the campus with a demo of the software and then a math test followed by a case study, lunch and finally 'the' interview. I liked the case study because it was more of a brainstorming sort of problem. The actual interview was both painful and silly. All about a game with Xs and Os.

Question 1
The math test is pretty challenging towards the end. Do not dawdle rechecking etc. HR can get a bit creepy about wanting to know about every single time period on your resume
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Dec 2012
Interview
The hiring process started with a online exams. It contained objective questions which were based on a new programming language language. You'll be able to solve them of you have sound knowledge of programming languages. It also has aptitude question which were not that difficult. Those who cleared this round were allowed to appear in the coding test. There were 3 questions. All of them were tricky. The people who cleared the coding test were then selected for telephonic interview. There were two interview, one technical followed by HR. Both of them were pretty easy.
