I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Jun 2019
Interview
I applied and was contacted right away to set up a phone interview. Once that was set up, I needed to complete an online skills assessment. The skills assessment tested your "critical thinking and logic skills"... more specifically they give you a fake coding language and questions about that, math questions, and comprehension questions. It took me about two hours to complete. Then, I had my phone interview, and I thought it went really well, but unfortunately they did not offer me an in-person interview.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in May 2019
Interview
Online application. Phone interview. Skills assessment. Final interview (full day at Epic). Total process took nearly two months from starting application to an accepted offer. Had clear communication and expectations throughout the entire process. The phone interview seemed to be more of a conversation to confirm/learn some basics about the role, validate your resume with some questions, and to ensure sincere interest in the position. Skills assessment required your utmost focus and attention. Final interview on-site at Epic contained a full schedule that offered a great mix of interviews with current employees in the role you're applying for, along with a final interview with a recruiter.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What was more important than any specific interview question(s) was the time spent during the final interview with current employees in the role I was seeking. I completed a tour of the facilities where training takes place, a case-study exercise, and a more formal (traditional) interview. All three experiences were with current employees with vast experience as Trainers. All three were very helpful, insightful, and meaningful because the conversations we had really established the role's responsibilities and what it's like to work at Epic.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Jan 2019
Interview
The first interview was really relaxed. I spoke with someone in the role I was applying for and was able to get a better understanding of the position. It was a very relaxed conversation.
