Excellent interview process. Everyone was very kind and professional. Interviews are multiple rounds and they give you excellent questions as well as opportunities to ask as many questions as desired.
Started with an aptitude test, then a technical round and finally an HR round. Aptitude test was pretty generic and contained analytical and logical reasoning questions. Technical round mostly focused on questions related to DBMS.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FIS (Birmingham, Engeland) in Dec 2023
Interview
I completed all the rounds of the interviews, I was told by the recruiter that passing the 2nd stage interview meant I ‘basically have the job’. At the final interview, I felt confident knowing what the recruiter said yet I didn’t get the role. The recruiter and the manager I interviewed with told me continuously I was a strong candidate and to re-apply as a new role was coming in 1 month. With the new role, I applied and received an email passing the first stage to have a phone call with the recruiter. Within the same 24 hours, I received a decline email. This was very confusing as I received 2 opposite emails. The recruiter told me I didn’t pass the first stage this time as there wasn’t enough time since my last interview to develop my skills - this is absurd as this same recruiter was the one who told me to apply for this new role knowing it was 1 month later (also the manager told me to as well). This whole interview process has been stressful and the company has proven to be unprofessional and give false hope to candidates without apology.
