I applied through their website. First round was a remote 2.5 hour coding exam, 10 multiple choice and 4 coding questions. Then i got an in person interview after 2 weeks. It was a one to one interview, the interviewer asked me to tell him about my resume and followed with a few questions. Mostly related to networking stuff.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fortinet (Vancouver, BC) in Feb 2016
Interview
I met the recruiters at a career event. A few weeks later they emailed me for a take-home test (2.5hrs). I did the test and sent my answers, but never heard back from them again. A simple "you didn't pass" would have been more appropriate to at least acknowledge the time I put into the test. I would never apply there again.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fortinet (Burnaby, BC) in Jun 2016
Interview
first round test is a two-hour remote test, send a word doc to you by HR. you need send it back in two hours. questions are quite wide, but as long as you did some dev works in Linux networking, should be OK to handle majority questions.
the second round is on-site interview, 6 interviewers in one room, go through cv and ask questions, this part is fairly easy as long as you know things.
