Took a web assignment prior to the interview. It was based on some web frameworks and did a small-sided project. The interview was less complicated than I thought it would be.

Question 1
Some web related questions and behavioural questions
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Fortinet (Vancouver, BC) in Dec 2021
Interview
More like an interrogation than a job interview.
The job description wants a new grad, but the interviewers want someone who knows everything and can just start making value for the company.
2 interviewers asking questions one by one, very job-specific and detailed.
Not mentioning a word of company value and culture. Feels like they will be milking you from the day one u start lol

Question 1
They are expecting very detailed and specific answers. You have to explain from the concepts to how it works in this question.
1. How does the front end communicate to the back end?
react & javscript coding, web development related knowledge, algorithmic questions for the final round. I applied online through Linkedin and got contacted two months later. Then the intervew process was pretty quick, however the final decision was made pretty slow. Not sure if they were waiting for other candidates' responses or if hr process is just slow.
