What a terrible interview! an unprofessional tech interviewer dressing in a self-righteous manner, an unintelligible accent, kindergarten level questions. The first thing interviewer did is to let my give up and said goodbye to me since I am not unemployed right now. What a ridiculous logic! Do I have to resign before I can join Freelancer interview???
That is really the worst interview, a waste of time! I can't imagine working for such a company where people there at such a low level (even don't know how to allocate memory in Numpy and Python)...
Strongly discourage to apply for this firm unless you're really as low as some tech staff there.

Diff between tuple and list, diff between array and list, and some silly questions like these
First a screening test on SQL queries and Python that I passed with 100%, then a call with HR and a technical interview with the head data scientist in their office in Sydney. The technical interview was quite unpleasant, the attitude from the interviewer was very smug and unwelcoming. Questions ranged from basic python and sql (stuff that requires a millisecond to google but I didn’t know on my feet) and then more statistical stuff. All in all one of the worst interviews I’ve ever had, made me question straight away if I would want to work for the guy.
I applied online. I interviewed at Freelancer (Vancouver, BC) in Oct 2019
Interview
We had a brief 20 min phone call interview to discuss qualifications needed for the role and responsibilities on a day-to-day basis. Interviewer was pleasant to talk to, straight to the point with all of the answers.
