Fugro Applications Manager interview questions

It was bit difficult to connect to the interviewers; probably they're not so familiar with the latest technologies to make an interview. Somehow; we've started our interview but I was expecting to meet with three interviewers on Skype but one of them was suddenly off; due to paternity leave who's the manager of dept. (decision maker). However, I talked to two interviewers and responded to all questions both technical and on other topics. One of the interviewers shared his positive feedback at the end of the meeting by mentioning about inviting me to their office for final interview. After waiting a few weeks for their decision, their HR agent responded to me about; they're looking for strong communicator so this is why they'll not proceed further with me. Actually, I haven't heard some excuse like that before in my 25 years of career. So, I was expecting bit more honesty but what I've found that their approach was very unprofessional because it was groundless.
