HelloFresh Marketing Analytics Manager interview questions

HelloFresh is on track to introduce a new BOGOF offer to the candidate experience. Apply once, get rejected twice. Applied online - got a rejection pretty quickly, standard email. A few weeks later, a recruiter called me that the rejection was due to salary misalignment and asked if I was interested in a more senior role that was in-line with my salary expectation. We proceeded to have an interview on the spot. 2 days later, a standard rejection email arrived for the 2nd role I never formally applied to. Not sure why they reach out to candidates for roles they haven't applied for if they have no interest in putting them forward.
