I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at HelloFresh (Berlijn) in Oct 2020
Interview
I had to go through a 5 stage process: first HR screening, then case study, then manager interview, then tech lead interview, then director-level interview.
The process was quite quick (1 month overall) and the recruiter was very clear in explaining what the next steps would be and how to prepare.
The interviews are quite simple for someone who has past Product experience, as they mostly focus on situational questions that a PM/PO has dealt with before. Each interviewer has their own twist and some ask small case studies during the interview itself, but these are all manageable. Overall, the process was very smooth.
Interview questions [1]

- How would you manage tech debt
- How would you manage conflict within the tech team on what to prioritize
I applied through other source. I interviewed at HelloFresh (Berlijn)
Interview
First, I had an interview with HR, where I briefly share your experience, motivation an expectations.
Then they send a test to assess the PM skills (design thinking, data analysis, problem framing, etc.)
After submitting the test, I had an interview with the hiring manager where we discuss the case study and technical experience.
Then, there was another interview with the engineer manager of the team I was applying to, where we discuss they how we both work with technical teams and current challenges the team is facing.
The last interview was with the director of the tribe, who focused my experience on vision and strategy, and also shared insights on the company values.

questions focused on prioritisation frameworks, development methodologies used previously and success metrics
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HelloFresh (Berlijn) in Sep 2019
Interview
A recruiter recommended me to apply for a job which does not really fit my background. She said the positions I applied myself did not match my background, but I do believe the one she recommended was even further away from my experience. This reflects the bad appetite and judgment of the recruiting team at HelloFresh.
Grumpy and demanding interviewer - the director (one of the interviewer) was very disparaging and always looked at me with his eyebrows frowned. He kind of dismissed my experience and does not think I am capable of doing product management jobs in the beginning.
What surprised me most is that when I asked the interviewer "what do you think are the main competitive advantage of the current product offerings at HelloFresh compared to competitors?", the director replied, "I did not actually follow what competitors are doing, so I am not very sure about this." To me, this is a big red light. I cannot imagine how this director is leading the product team if he does not even know the market and competitors move.
So at that time I already decided I do not want to join this team.
