IBM Applications Developer interview questions

The interview consisted of two rounds. The first was a technical round where the interviewer assessed core Java concepts, Spring Boot, REST API design, and problem-solving skills. Questions ranged from theoretical (OOP principles, JVM internals, collections) to practical coding scenarios. The second was a managerial/technical round that blended both — it evaluated system design thinking, past project experience, and behavioral questions around teamwork, ownership, and handling challenges in a professional setting. Overall, the process was structured and straightforward, with a clear focus on both technical depth and cultural fit.
