      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Indeed (Dublin, Dublin) in Feb 2018

      Interview

It consisted of two phone calls and an onsite interview in my case. The first call was with their own in house recruiter, the second with what I understood to be another recruiter who was taking care of this role and who gave a typical screening interview for 20 - 30 minutes. The final on site component of the interview was where I felt the company let themselves down. The interview was held by two team leaders, one came across quite affable and the other intimidating, perhaps a deliberate set up, regardless it felt like a bit of dated approach to have one grilling and the other jumping in to move things along. There was a sales pitch or roleplay as part of the process, I was actually given a brief on what type of questions they would ask during it and what the best approach was to take during it which I found self defeating. In general the experience was bad as I expected a lot more discussion relevant to role and how I might fit rather than a hard line on how much I valued working towards KPI's and "where did I see myself in 5 years" with the bad cop staring me down. It felt like an interview for a low rate call center from 20 years ago.

I applied online. I interviewed at Indeed (Singapore) in Feb 2026

      Interview

The recruiter was based in Bangalore, India. At the start of the interview, he read through the job scope directly from his screen. He spoke very fast with a strong accent, which made it difficult for me to fully understand. After reviewing the role, he asked questions related to the sales process, motivation, strengths, sales targets, handling difficult customers, availability, and salary expectations. I asked for clarification more than once and answered the questions based on my understanding. The interview felt very transactional, with limited interaction beyond the scripted questions. Just some feedback, I feel I would have been able to respond more effectively if the questions were shorter and more direct. Some of the questions were quite lengthy. I have no issue with different accents, but speaking slower and clearer pace of speech would have improved comprehension.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Indeed (New York, NY) in Dec 2025

      Interview

Fast paced but thorough. Was able to finish the process within 3-4 weeks. Fully remote and interviewed with several directors. The process felt personable and the directors took time to make sure that it was a good fit for me as well.

      Interview

Just a phone screen. It was clear the recruiter didn't fully read/misread my resume when she got on the call as I could hear her having her "oh oops" moment. Haven't heard since. At least she was candid that they don't promise any feedback or communication as a policy.
