I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Infosys (Calcutta) in Sep 2011
Interview
1st round----general aptitude question like the book of rs aggarwal, arun sharma. But be cautious about time management, because it will be battle of time vs agility.beware of your method solving technique, because it may take toll of your time limit. Finally i want to say...be steady and solve the questions using appropriate method, rather don't stick to 1 question.. afterall only a few can alone solve all the question correctly in stipulated time.
2nd round(HR interview)-----general hr and case solving question will be asked.these are every day life.Be aware to answer them in a compact and correct manner...dont lie at all otherwise it will be a blunder.

Interview
Following the assessment test, got shortlisted for the interview phase. The session itself was very smooth; the interviewer created a supportive and comfortable environment right from the beginning. The conversation centered around my project, where I had the opportunity to detail its technical aspects, architectural choices, and the underlying motivation for building it.
Multiple rounds including face to face and aptitude depending on the role type and resume and project related questions were asked with focus on technical concepts including data structures and algorithms
The recruitment process started with an online assessment that included aptitude, reasoning, verbal ability, and programming questions. Candidates who cleared the assessment were invited for a technical and HR interview. The interview lasted around 30 minutes and focused on Java fundamentals, projects mentioned in the resume, OOP concepts, certifications, and basic HR questions. The interviewers were friendly and gave sufficient time to answer.
