I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Infosys (Kollam) in Sep 2012
Interview
The Aptitude exam was basically a normal one. It was done online.
The interview was basically an HR Interview. The guy in my panel took a look at my resume and started asking about each and every detail in it. He started from the projects I have done. Make sure that the most successful and most important one is on the top (I didn't order it like that)
Make sure that you can answer everything in a very good way. They mainly look for your communication skills.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There weren't many tough questions for me, but make sure that you are thorough with your resume. Wherever there was anything that I have undertaken, he asked me what all difficulties I faced in that. Be careful of the details that you give in, they will ask from that too.

Interview
Following the assessment test, got shortlisted for the interview phase. The session itself was very smooth; the interviewer created a supportive and comfortable environment right from the beginning. The conversation centered around my project, where I had the opportunity to detail its technical aspects, architectural choices, and the underlying motivation for building it.
Multiple rounds including face to face and aptitude depending on the role type and resume and project related questions were asked with focus on technical concepts including data structures and algorithms
The recruitment process started with an online assessment that included aptitude, reasoning, verbal ability, and programming questions. Candidates who cleared the assessment were invited for a technical and HR interview. The interview lasted around 30 minutes and focused on Java fundamentals, projects mentioned in the resume, OOP concepts, certifications, and basic HR questions. The interviewers were friendly and gave sufficient time to answer.
