I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Infosys (Madras) in Jan 2010
Interview
Hiring process involved an initial analytical and problem solving round for 1 hour.Ut was a written test and it was pretty easy.Infy has done away with its old practice of having puzzles and stuff. Its a fairly simple round where a person with decent knowledge will be able to get through. The next round was a HR round(Yes.No technical round). The HR round was a face to face interaction where they asked basic questions about myself and how I handle situations.

The recruitment process started with an online assessment that included aptitude, reasoning, verbal ability, and programming questions. Candidates who cleared the assessment were invited for a technical and HR interview.
