I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Interfolio in Aug 2020
Interview
End of July/beginning of August I was contacted to set up a screening call with their recruiter which went very well. Then I scheduled a follow up with another person which was also a call. That one left a lot to be desired but apparently it was good enough because I was contacted to do a 3rd round. And it was 2hrs long. I began to question my desire for the position because it seemed excessive. I have never had that long of an interview before let alone after 2 prior calls. I did it anyway because It was not a choice for me being unemployed and with bills to pay. The video interview went okay but was 2hrs of being asked the same questions repeatedly in varying ways. Since I read the glassdoor review, at the end I asked when I could expect a follow-up. I was told Friday of that week I interviewed. Very soon but i took them at their word. Not expecting much after reading the glassdoor reviews I was not shocked when Friday came and went with no follow-up. These are red flags of a company that you only see when you are not hired. However, during these times and with the response they left on the last review you’d think they would have the decency or actual willingness to do better and respond via email to ALL candidates. They have yet to respond or follow-up which shows a lack of care for potential team members which is surprising given how much they boasted about they’re work environment. You are dealing with people who are unemployed and have wasted a month going through a process with your company and you can’t send them an email thanking them for their time and declining the position. It speaks to their actual values as a company. I am glad that I didn’t get chosen for a position here. Unless you are willing to go through 3 hour+ long interviews and be “ghosted” don’t bother. They clearly don’t have the value and professionalism they proclaim. Very convenient a few days after posting this they send an email. As if anyone would still want a job that takes almost a month to contact you. Proves even more I dodged a bullet. Don’t tell people a deadline and not update them by then basic professionalism. Also, they never asked for references not sure that’s common.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Can you describe a time where you had a conflict and how you handled it?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Interfolio (Washington, DC) in Dec 2019
Interview
I applied online.
Initial interview was a phone screening to learn about your background, skills, and career interests.
2nd round was scheduled a week after. It was an online 1-1 interview with their Director of Sales Operations. It started out with sharing mutual background and learning information about the company. Then was an organic questions and answers about work experience.
3rd and final round is a 2-3Hr onsite interview at their HQ in DC. I had 5 back to back interviews with various department heads as well as the previous Sales Engineer. After the final interview there was a 15-20 minute sales roleplay where you do a technical present of a product of your choosing. Then there was a small tour of the office.
Overall, I believe that everyone at the interfolio team were competent, nice, engaging, and professional.
However, there was never any follow up contact or information from the team despite numerous attempts to contact the recruitment team.
It was very disappointing that they would string along a applicant for over a month and then ghost them.
That said, the people within the company were very friendly and interesting. I would advice HR to follow up with applicants.

Thank you for your feedback on the experience you had interviewing with Interfolio. It doesn’t reflect the engaging, positive and responsive culture we’ve worked hard to build here at Interfolio. I applied online and was contacted via email to schedule an interview with the Director of Talent Acquisition a few days later. At the end of our phone interview I was told that she loved my experience and wanted to schedule a phone call with the hiring manager and myself and that I would hear from her either later that day, or the next day about available times. I was never contacted again. I followed up the next day with a thank you email and still no response. A week and a half later I reached out again to see about scheduling, or to ask if they had decided to move on with another candidate - still nothing. I found this wildly unprofessional and honestly quite rude, I wouldn't recommend any professionals that I know apply to work there since this seems to be a recurring issue. When I initially read the other glassdoor reviews about this behavior I thought maybe there were miscommunications but this was pretty clearcut, they are just unprofessional.
I applied there because I thought it seemed like a good company that was doing important work but if this is how the Director of Talent Acquisition works then I think it's probably a pretty big red flag about how the rest of the company operates.
