There were two round of interviews -- 1) phone screening 2) case presentation with the team. They planned to have the final round in office visit but since they were in a rush to start the onboarding process, they just sent me the offer.

Question 1
They asked me to imagine the marketing situation, and asked how I would approach this
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KAYAK (Londen, Engeland) in May 2025
Interview
It was very clear, quick and transparent . You always knew what to expect during the whole process. The internal recruiter was really good and proactive. My manager even offered to have an informal call before the offer to ensure I was comfortable joining.
The process took 2 months. I interviewed at KAYAK (Berlijn) in Jul 2025
Interview
The process started smoothly, with a positive interview and encouraging feedback from the hiring manager. But from there, it completely unraveled.
- I received an email that still had placeholder text ({{CANDIDATE_FIRST_NAME}}), showing no attention to detail.
- The process was suddenly put “on hold” for weeks with no clarity.
- Every update was vague and inconsistent, and the only reason I got any information at all was because I kept pushing back; otherwise, I would have been left in the dark (or ghosted entirely).
- After weeks of this, I was sent a generic rejection email — only to see the same role reposted soon after.
Candidates invest significant time and energy. Being met with careless communication, no feedback, and shifting excuses shows a lack of respect and professionalism. If this is how they handle hiring, I can only imagine the level of disorganization internally.
