I applied online. I interviewed at Klarna in Mar 2021
Interview
A little bummed, so I will be as objective as possible. Pretty long and tiring process- interviewed for east coast city, ultimately did not get an offer, but it was good interviewing practice.
Interview Process went as follows:
1. Intro call - see what role is best fit
2. 15 min logic test (proctored)
3. Take home case study with their APIs
4. 1 hr role play presentation
5. 1hr Behavioral interview
6. 1 hr Panel (2ppl) interview (behavioral-ish)
I enjoyed the process, however I would have appreciated the panel interview earlier in the pipeline. It just seems more efficient to save time for applicants/interviewers. All interviews were in the middle of my workday, and the process did not seem to be cognizant of my time.

"Tell me a time where...."
"Can you explain to me______" (seeing how you translate technical terms to a business-minded audience)
Many phases and very time consuming. Included a take-home coding assignment and a presentation about their product plus multiple interviews. Everything was very time consuming. There was some inconsistent communication during the recruitment.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Klarna (Amsterdam) in May 2025
Interview
I first had some nice conversations with recruitment. They would send me a test case afterwards. I completed the test case and even got some help by email because a few things weren't clear. After submitting the results, I did not receive any answers or feedback. Even after sending a reminder email, I got total radio silence. They ghosted me. This is not how you treat people.
Pretty long process, it took around 1.5 months. 1. Recruiter screening 2. Supervised logical test 3. Technical case study (Take home assignment, no presentation, only submit your answers) 4. Technical presentation to Senior peer 5. Behavioural interview 6. Final interview with department's Director and potential Team Lead.
