Probably one of the WORST experience I had.
I applied online, and after a few days, I got invitation for logic test.
After the logic test, the process went silent, no response at all. After waiting a few weeks, I sent the email to follow up the process, and the HR told me "oh yup, you passed the logic with full score, but I didnt do anything from my side, my bad..." and then I got invited to a video interview with the HR.
Most part of the interview went quite OK, but one thing made me really uncomfortable was that the HR guy kept telling me that I am very junior level. I know I am junior level, and I mentioned a pretty low salary expectation when asked, I told the HR as long as I can learn, contribute, and improve myself at Klarna, I do not really need much salary to start, as long as it is good enough for my to apply blue card. Still, I felt like I was asking toooooo much money from them, and the HR tried hard to remind me that I am not experienced enough to be paid the salary I required. It was NOT pleasant.
Anyway, after the video interview, he sent me a coding test, there were three questions with no time limit, shouldnt be problem for programmer with more than one yer experience. I, however, ran into a problem that one test from one of the questions does not pass, and might not execute with the rule as listed in the question...I find it a bug or whatever problem is, and I received an email telling me that I am not experienced enough to solve all the test 100%, so they cant proceed. And then I gave this bug feedback to the HR, but I guess he doesnt know coding at all and only checked the result, and does not reply my question anymore.
So basically, I found the whole applying process at Klarna USELESS, not because I did not get the offer, but nothing was helpful or meaningful for me. The test was awefuly crappy easy, the interview was unpleasant, and I assume you should not trust the "competitive salary" from Klarna job description, while they might do their best to cut it anyway (well, maybe I am just not good enough to deserve it, but if you think you are super coder and have time to go through the application process.....well, then you should just apply for other nice companies like google, amazon, or HERE, I do not see any reason you should waste your time on Klarna)
