I recently participated in the recruitment process for a position at Mambu Amsterdam, and I would like to share my experience.
The initial conversation with the recruiter was positive and informative. They provided a comprehensive overview of the company, its culture, and a general outline of the role in question. This first impression was encouraging and set a professional tone for the process.
The second and third interview were also well-conducted. We discussed the specifics of the role in greater detail, alongside my skill set and how it aligned with the expectations of the position. Overall, this conversation further solidified my interest in the opportunity.
However, my final interview did not meet the same standards. I spoke with a panel member who was not yet officially part of the Mambu team. Unfortunately, this conversation was confusing, as the panel member appeared to be unaware of the role's specifics and described a different position altogether.
Following this interview, I encountered significant delays in receiving feedback. I had to reach out multiple times for updates, and it was only after my persistent inquiries that I learned they had already filled the position.
While the initial phases of the recruitment were promising, the final stages left much to be desired. I would recommend Mambu streamline their communication processes and ensure that all team members involved in interviews are well-informed about the roles they discuss.
