Questions about experience, why work there, what motivates you, what the role is about. General interview questions to judge whether you would be a good fit for the role and the team based on where you will be needed throughout the day. Questions about your availability etc
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at McDonald's (Hongkong)
Interview
The interview was quite straightforward and not stressful. First, the manager briefly introduced the role and the shift pattern, then asked some basic questions about my previous experience, availability, and how I handle busy periods. Most questions were common ones you can easily prepare for, such as why I want to work at McDonald’s and how I work in a team. Overall, it felt friendly and predictable, as long as you think ahead about your answers.
The McDonald’s interview process is typically quick and straightforward. You’ll usually meet with a manager who asks basic questions about availability, teamwork, customer service, and reliability. It’s relaxed, friendly, and focused on seeing if you can handle a fast-paced environment and work well with others.
