The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Initial communication came from a recruiter to screen you and see if you have the ability to work with metrics and understand KPI’s. They want you to have a product manager mindset, not necessarily a marketing mindset.
If you make it past the first round they will set you up with resources. Training videos, guides, mock interviews, etc. They claim they want you to be prepared and you have 2 weeks to review all of the info. Second round is an execution (KPI’s) and product sense (product design, target market) interviews. Both are 45 minutes. Both of my interviewers were fairly late and I had to contact my recruiter to call them so they would join the call. Really odd.
I came extremely prepared using the methodology they told me to use. I thought I clearly and methodically walked through the mission statement, customer segments, problems, solutions, prioritizations, trade offs etc. In the end I got no feedback about how I did and did not get an offer. Overall it didn’t feel very genuine when it came time for them to make a decision and the responses from my recruiter seen cookie cutter.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 12 months. I interviewed at Meta (San Jose, CA) in Jan 2022
Interview
Just terrible. I can't imagine a worse process. All about abstract tests with no consideration as to experience or track record. Very impersonal. Seems like half the interviews I did had more to do with extracting information about the industry, often proprietary.

Question 1
They asked for specifics on a past AI/ML project I managed. Seems like they wanted to know more about how I would handle a question they knew I couldn't answer.
The interview process for Product Managers is very structured. You will need to conform to what the interviews are looking for. But the good news is that everything you need to know about the process is provided once you pass the recruiter screening. So read the preparation materials / watch the videos

Sorry but it's not fair to provide the questions - read the prep materials!
