I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (New York, NY) in Sep 2025
Interview
The Meta interview process began with an Online Coding Assessment (CodeSignal) consisting of four problems; notably, I advanced despite solving only 50% of the tasks due to an unexpected bug, which suggests the OA may act more as a threshold than a strict filter. This was followed by a Technical Phone Screen with a Meta developer—a fast-paced, 45-minute session requiring the solution of two LeetCode-style problems (typically Medium/Hard) on a notepad-style platform. A key aspect of this round is that code execution is disabled, forcing the candidate to rely entirely on manual dry-runs to verify logic, handle edge cases, and prove optimal time and space complexity. Although I successfully provided solutions for both problems, I was ultimately not selected for the next round, illustrating Meta’s extremely high bar for speed, fluidity, and "zero-hint" execution in the current competitive market.

Question 1
The technical evaluation was divided into two distinct parts: first, a 4-step CodeSignal assessment that ramped up in difficulty, followed by a live technical interview where I had to solve two LeetCode-style problems on a notepad-like platform without the ability to run the code.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Meta in Dec 2025
Interview
3 rounds:
1st round: Leetcode coding, 2 problems in 45 mins
2nd round: Online assessment for 90 mins
3rd round: 4 interviews:
1 coding interview
leetcode type
problem solving, communication
run the code
AI enabled coding interview
Ai agent within coder pad
do not run the code
no person
Architecture round
Behavioral interview
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Meta (Zürich) in Oct 2025
Interview
Screening (coding) and 5 rounds of Full-loop (2 codings, 2 system design, behavioral), done across several days.
Flexible scheduling, good contact with recruiter. Everything realised online with pretty quick feedback loop.
