I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Microsoft (Lucknow) in Jan 2026
Interview
The OA was simple. There were two interview rounds. The interview focused on problem solving, logical puzzles, and some system design concepts like caching and database optimization. The HR round had one dsa , one behavourial and one os based question. The interviewers were friendly and the difficulty level was moderate.

HR ROUND
Strengths and Weaknesses
Cooredinates of two rectangles are given how would you find if they intersect or not
how to make your system crash using code.
Resume screen then an easy OA. There were two back-to-back interviews where there were behaviourals for the first 15 minutes and then they asked me a difficult LeetCode question on graphs and I think it was finding redundant connections.

Question 1
Tell me about one time you worked in a team with engineers where you had to resolve a technical issue,
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft (Boekarest, )
Interview
The interview process had 3 rounds
First, it was a technical test with 2 coding problems
Second, it was a phone interview for 30 minutes. For some reason, I haven't received one.
Third, it was a 3-round long interview with 45 minutes per round and a 15-minute break. The first round, I had to solve a coding problem. After I was done, my problem was slightly modified and I was asked how to solve the modified version. The second round, I was asked about the projects from my CV and I was asked a data structure question (How to design a smart elevator). Third round included OOP basic questions. It was quite exhausting.
