I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Microsoft (Mountain View, CA) in Apr 2012
Interview
It was a hard interview. They asked technological questions and I was like, wow, you guys are smart. The buildings were impressive as was there cafeteria. The grounds were very nice and I could imagine employees during lunch breaks loosing themselves from the outside world. There were also lots of computers but I was relieved when they allowed me to use pen and pad. White board was offered but those pens smelled awful.
