      Platform Engineer I Interview

      Jun 19, 2026
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Mollie in Jun 2026

      Interview

The process consisted of five rounds: HR screening, hiring manager (general discussions about previous experiences, job presentation and culture fit), technical interview (a large variety of topics, including Docker, Kubernetes, release strategies, networking and PKI, security), system design (probably the toughest step), and finally behavioral. Overall the process was quite challenging, but at no point did I feel uneasy or have any problems with my interviewers. All of the interviewers were very friendly, and at times it really felt like a conversation between peers. Also, big thanks to my recruiter Cristina, who helped me prepare for each step and provided detailed feedback after each round.
