I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Moody's in May 2014
Interview
The interview was quickly scheduled. The first round phone call was good. Questions consist of a brief introduction of yourself, questions for your resume followed by intro-level economics questions. The interviewer was nice. The second phone call was not good. The interviewer kept on discrediting my previous work instead of asking how I solve the problem. The whole interview did not go well. I was left with a sour taste in my mouth.
My resume is submitted by a friend internally. An unexpected phone Interview by a group director came about two weeks later. He introduced himself first, and then told me what his group did. This is a research intern position

Interview
Just a phone interview for interns, they do not expect you to bring a lot to the table and instead treat this mainly as a learning opportunity for you, which is how it should be
