Interview
Telephone based HR qualifier interview - this step was pretty standard. It was then followed by invitation for face to face interview and an online assessment which was sales focused. The Face to face interview with the MD (and additional person that was not mentioned in the confirmation email) was quite un-structured with the interviewers bouncing to each other for questions. Then never heard from them, I followed up for feedback several times and nothing back to date, not even a standard you have been unsuccessful or we have found someone whose skills match better! My application is funnily enough still "under consideration" on their careers page.

Moody's outsources the HR team. The recruiter was very nice and patient. They needs candidates with strong quantitative and programming skills. Finance knowledge is not mandatory.

Interview
Comprehensive 3 stage interview process. The first being a general math and IQ test, followed up by a case study and a final 1:1 meeting with higher management. Background in financial modelling/accounting and valuation would be invaluable to successfully answer interview questions. Financial market and Economics related background knowledge is tested in-depth.
