The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Moody's (New York, NY) in Mar 2012
Interview
Got an email from HR for a phone screening that happened in a week and later was called on site for a 4 hour interview session with the group director (via video conference), hiring manager, team member, a recently joined employee from other team, and HR. Most of the questions were related to the resume and the position that I applied for. I followed up with HR a couple of times and he said he will let me know but never got back.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Moody's (Londen, Engeland) in Apr 2012
Interview
I was invited to the interview/assessment centre some months after a rejection for the same role.
After a 30' presentation of the company and the position given by the recruiters, a series of three interviews followed, mainly focused on a better knowledge of the career of the candidate and his personality profile.
No technical questions were involved, I guess they wanted to look into the inter-personal skills, as a final lunch break with other members of the team was scheduled in the end of the day. However, a deep research on the activities of Moody's Analytics is advised and you may expect some competency-based questions.
The Recruiting team and I were aware of my stronger preference for an analytical role and, although they didn't offer me a job in Client Services, they invited me for another assessment day regarding the Investor Services.

Question 1
A question regarding my leading role in a team, how did I help the group to succeed...
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Moody's (New York, NY) in Dec 2011
Interview
Had an initial phone interview with office manager that was behavioral in nature. Was notified very shortly thereafter that I was invited for an in-office interview with the group in New York. Over course of 4 hours or so, interviewed with six people--mostly Vice-Presidents, one Managing Director for the group, and another Associate Analyst. All asked the same general questions--very few functional knowledge-oriented questions.
