Moody's interview questions

It was okay. not much to say. Weird interview questions. Employees seem competitive even with an intern. Asked me what functions i knew on excel which was strange considering the role.

Applied for Senior Software Engineer - UI role at Moody's. The process had 1 round combining technical and behavioral questions. The round covered NgRx in depth, data structures, TypeScript strictness, and soft skills around code reviews and cross-team communication. The 2D matrix binary search problem was not solved during the interview. One observation — the interviewer turned on their camera only after being requested to do so, which felt unprofessional for a senior-level interview.
