Morningstar Associate interview questions

I had 1st interview with HR screening. the interviewer was nice and receptive during the interview, with general questions like walk me through your CV. I thought it went well but I received an email the next day through their system with a general negative response, not even a personalized email taking into account that I took time to interview with them.

Pre-interview screening with HR to clarify position. They gave details of the role and asked if it aligned with my expectations. The position described was vastly different then the one posted on their website and declined to further my application
