I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at MuleSoft (Atlanta, GA) in Jul 2015
Interview
For the phone interview, I was asked very basic questions. He told me he is looking for a good person that has had points of success in their life and is also intelligent. It was only 15 minutes of back and forth until the end where I was able to ask questions which extended the conversation for another 15 minutes. I asked for feedback on how I did and he was very surprised because not a lot of people ask that question. He did give me feedback on a couple things: be more sure of what I want to do for the company, polish my answers and tell more quantitative responses. I'm still waiting to hear back from them so not sure if I made it to the next round or not.

Question 1
Tell me about what you do for your current position? Why Mulesoft? How would you rank yourself among your peers? Tell me a time you were most proud of yourself? Why did you transfer schools? Tell me a time you were in a leadership position?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MuleSoft (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2015
Interview
Intensive. The final interview is conducted with multiple people and lasts a long time. The people in the company come off as exceptionally smug but they do seem to be the gatekeepers to a great workplace. I had the opportunity to talk with a couple of employees outside of the interview process. Some were frigid, and others were warm and inviting. There is only one 3 minute opportunity outside the group of interviewees to pitch yourself to the actual people hiring you. Best advice: be prepared. Make sure you have all your reasons why you want to work at mulesoft backed up by stories of past success and exceptional achievement. Even if you do not get hired it's a great opportunity to set a bar for the most difficult interview you've had. Ever since that experience I have done much better at all my interviews.

Tell of something you did that was exceptionally special.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at MuleSoft (Sydney) in Sep 2014
Interview
Challenging & Engaging. There were 8 to 10 interviews all up. Will want to understand your background and history of results. I found the process challenging and when you start working you know that anyone who comes through the door went through what you did. It's great.
