I applied in-person. I interviewed at MuleSoft in May 2014
Interview
Two rushed 25 minute telephone interviews. Didn't really get into any detail about the role. I was asked if I had any questions about the company and the hirer tried to answer them.
I waited a week and asked for some feedback. Heard nothing more.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at MuleSoft (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2016
Interview
I applied through a recruiter. One way video interview. Something I had never done before but enjoyed the experience and I think is a good interview tool. Allows for many different people at the company to review the questions and is a lot more telling than a phone interview. I know others only allot a certain amount of time/chances to answer but this one was unlimited.

Question 1
What was a past challenge and how did you overcome it?
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at MuleSoft (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
Worst interview experience of all time. The process was extremely slow. I had to check in three of four times to organize next steps (rather than the recruiter reaching out to me), even though the recruiter and hiring manager were both explicit about getting me through the process. After the onsite, I never heard from the hiring manager or recruiter even though I emailed the recruiter several times. I eventually saw that the position was filled on LinkedIn. The lack of respect was more frustrating than not getting the position.
-Applied online
-Phone screen with recruiter
-Phone interview with hiring manager
-Onsite with the hiring manager and 3 team members

Question 1
What is one thing you would change about the sales process at your current company?
Yikes! Your recount of your experience sounds like the opposite of what we aim to provide for our candidates, and is generally counter to the feedback we get in our candidate surveys. I'd love to dig into this a little deeper with you to understand what went on here. I'm so sorry you felt you had a negative experience, and there is no excuse for that. Please feel free to reach out to me directly, as I'd love to hear more about what went on here and how we can do better. Thank you for your time and getting to know us.
