I was interviewed over the telephone technically in April 2014 for the role of developer. I would say the interview process went well and the interviewer even discussed about my preferred job location and the offices in the particular city. Till date, I am being told that my candidature is put 'on hold' . I am really not sure what would this mean and can I look forward to have further discussions for this position?

Question 1
I was given business scenarios to test my knowledge.
had 3 rounds of interview
the 1st round was good with decent technical questions but the second round was more of a repetition of the 1st. Most of the questions in round 2 had already been asked in round 1. The funny part being that the interviewer from round 1 was one of the interviewer in round 2 and he ended up asking lots of questions from round 1.
Round 3 was just a talk with one of the senior management.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at NTT DATA (Bengaluru) in Apr 2014
Interview
The first round was an online test which consisted of aptitude and technical questions, which were fairly easy if one is comfortable with basic algorithms and data structures. The next round was a Group discussion round, which was not the best experience and the person who shouted the most got the upper hand. I could only get this far.

Some of the algorithms questions were quite unexpected for those not from a CS background
