Applied online after finding the job posting on LinkedIn. Quick phone call from recruiting manager for first round. Basic behavioral questions and a few questions regarding the role. You have the option to choose your location preference.
I asked about...
-Customer either too small and relies heavily on products like video conferencing vs flights
-Small customer rarely use (a few times a year) and pay SAAS and ends up not saving
-Medium customer, some backlash from top employees, hard to raise price on software
-Large customer (not yet ready)
Travel industry is very low margin and expensive, thus we had to raise nearly 300M for a 1B valuation.
Standard interview process except they hype all their awards like Wealthfront Career Launcher 2019, LInkedIn, Glassdoor, and diversity. Got a very fraternity like vibe and it seems like they heavily use referrals which is compounding this. Love the mission and company.
