I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Navan
Interview
HR approached me. The Interview was scheduled to judge my data structure and alogirthm skill. during the interview I solved 2 question in 30 mins. Interviewer told that this is too quick , normally people do 1 question in 1 hour.
First I talked to the recruiter who was super helpful and gave me lots of information on the role. Then I had a tech screen, then a final "on-site" round with 3 interviews. 2 were technical and 1 was behavioral. The process took 2 weeks and could have been done faster, which depended on my availability.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The tech screen had an open-ended design question. Like designing a calendar for example. Followed by an algorithms interview with live coding on coderpad, a system design interview also on coderpad, then finally a behavioural interview with a few situations and discussions on previous projects
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Navan
Interview
A third party recruiter contacted, set up a Zoom meeting with lead recruiter who setup a technical round with one of the engineers.
The interviewer turns up 30 mins late, pastes a Hard leet code problem, starts munching burger and keeps looking down and was for some reason not interested in any thing I wrote on the screen, very poor communication, he probably did not understand any of the standard questions he was asking.
30 mins up and he said that I will grant you 30 more mins as I came late and then at the end asks me, do you have a solution when he obviously saw I was struggling with the problem and had covered only partial use cases.
My advice to any one interviewing here would be to stay as far away, there were just too many red flags.
