I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Parker Meggitt (San Diego, CA) in Jan 2018
Interview
the job posting looked promising, and fit into my experience. phone interview with the hiring manager went well (30 minutes in length). This was followed by an invite to come to the office for a panel interview. I get there, and one of the first remarks was a negative comment about my suit (European suit suitable for an interview). I should have expected this from a provincial office managed by provincial talent. Questions were example driven (e.g. tell us about a time when...) and not difficult. I was told that this role would not challenge me enough. I was not planning on working here if an offer was presented due to what I saw during the panel interview
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Parker Meggitt (Coventry, Engeland) in Dec 2018
Interview
I went to their location in Coventry. They're planning on moving to a brand new central. I was welcomed by the hiring manager and a member of HR. They guided me through the company, the department and finally the job role. I had two interviews with them both very similar.
In the end I was allowed to make further questions and address any concerns.
