I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Penguin Random House (Amman) in May 2023
Interview
They were nice in the interview. The fact that they offer support when it comes to preparing interviews is amazing. Anyone ends up knowing what to talk about and what not to say.
I interviewed at Penguin Random House (New York, NY)
Interview
Had several phone calls set up (Probably 5-6) where I was passed from one department to another. Typically they were just asking basic get to know you questions. The original department I applied to turned me down but she liked me and so passed me to another dept where she knew there was an opening. The same thing happened again until eventually I was offered an internship in a digital department but by that point I had already accepted a position with another firm. Wanted to work for Penguin badly but they strung me along.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Penguin Random House (Londen, Engeland) in May 2023
Interview
Consisted of a solo interview, individual task and group task. The interview was very easygoing. Follow up questions were asked after each question which made it more conversational and they were really interested in hearing about my own views and thoughts about the publishing landscape.
