Penguin Random House interview questions

I applied for the position, and a recruiter later reached out to me saying that I had been selected to do a writing assignment. The assignment involved writing about a book and recommending one to acquire. I was not selected to go to the next round, which would have been interviews with potential bosses and teammates.

I interviewed at Penguin for a Campaigns Executive role in December 2023. I submitted a written application, had a first interview virtually, then had to submit a task and finally had a second interview in person at their offices. They asked standard questions about favourite campaigns, a time where i have convinced a colleague to change their mind, how i keep myself attentive to detail and my personal reading interests. It was an enjoyable process overall and I received helpful feedback when I wasn't offered the role.
