I applied online. I interviewed at Penguin Random House
Interview
Interview was online with two of their senior designers. Mainly spoke through my projects with some general chat afterwards. Really nice experience with plenty of support offered along the way for my disability. They gave great feedback after the interview that was super constructive and will be incredibly helpful going forward.
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Penguin Random House (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2022
Interview
Interviewed with three members of staff I would have been closely working under. It was pretty straightforward, they asked a few rounds of question to get a feel of what I'm like as a person but also some to sus out skill, then asked if I had any questions of my own. Overall, it was very pleasant and they were all quite friendly, despite not getting the job. I was notified via email that I did not get the position and they also offered feedback when I asked.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Penguin Random House (New York, NY) in Oct 2023
Interview
I applied online. The recruiter got to me fairly soon <5 days and screened me with interview questions. I then interviewed with the manager next week Monday via Teams where she really got into the details of the role. She was great. Wasn't awkward, but really seemed to be pushing for someone who really knows Excel. Come knowing your books of course.
